Cable current ratings (A)

Enter ratings from TES's licensed copy of AS/NZS 3008 for the cable type TES uses, one number per cell. Leave a cell blank if not used. Then save a copy of the app with these ratings built in, and share that copy.

The ambient correction is calculated, not looked up: √((conductor temperature − ambient) ÷ (conductor temperature − reference)). Set the conductor temperature above to the one your ratings are based on. Cooler-than-reference ambients are not credited.

Grouping factors

Factor by number of circuits grouped, for the arrangement TES normally uses. If more circuits are grouped than you enter, the last factor entered is used.
